Stabilizer alarm

I understand their is an alarm that sounds if you start the engine with stabilizers down. Can't find any evidence of this on my 2017 2400SD.Please, someone enlighten me!

I don't have any experience with MHs so I can't answer your question. Hopefully some members will drop by and offer some feedback.

I have a 2017.5 3170
When I start my engine my alarm sounds
Off . I would get it checked out if I were you.
I like having the warning beep sound as a self reminder ...

When your stabilizers are down, put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position. You don't have to start it, just to the position before it starts. You should get an alarm at that point. I do anyway.

If you mean you're hearing the alarm while starting the engine yet all the stabilizers appear to be up I can think of 2 possibilities. 1) one or more stabilizers are not entirely up or 2) you have a problem sensor on the stabilizers(s).

Our 2430 started alarming within 1 mile of the dealership the day we bought it! After several trips to BigFoot, it turned out to be the main wiring harness had been damaged when FR installed the cabinetry in the coach. Some of the wires were shorting out, telling the controller that there was a cylinder in the down position even when there wasn't. The alarm is quite noticeable too, so you'll know when it goes off!

Forgot about FR's difficulties with keeping wiring harnesses in one piece. My slider had a harness crunched and shorted out. So there's a third possibility!😀
