Steering stabilizer

I have a 2012 2250E and would like to add a steering stabilizer. We are on the Chevy G4500 chassis and I haven't found anyone making a stabilizer for this unit.

What symptoms are you trying to correct? IMHO, the Chevy handles very well without modification. Make sure tires are inflated properly and air bags on rear have sufficient air ( I keep at 55-60 psi).

steering stabilizer

It's really a chore to drive with a crosswind or whenbeing passed by big rigs.

Add air to your air bags to help stabilize in a cross wind. They hold up to 100 psi. Try 60 to 70 psi. Add air in short bursts, as it doesn't take much air to inflate them.

There will always be a little push-pull when being passed by a big truck. After awhile you get used to it and anticipate it and make the necessary corrections without even thinking about it. A steady crosswind will require holding the steering wheel slightly off-center in the direction of the wind, but with the proper air bag inflation should not result in "sway". (Sway is a rocking motion, not just the fact that you get pushed a little.) A gusty wind will require some corrections. Slowing down in gusty winds helps some (55 mph on interstates).

Always maintain proper air pressure in tires for best stability. Sticker on driver door will tell you recommended pressures (mine is 65 psi front, 80 psi rear).

Not to stray off topic but my Ford is pulling a little right
Tires equal
Bags at 50 psi in rear are there front bags also?
I didn't see front valves
Somewhere I read the Ford needs an alignment soon after "break in"
I'm at 1700 miles
Thanks

No front air bags. Based on what others have said about Fords, you may need an alignment. Search for threads about it--in some cases FR has paid for them under warranty.
