Steering Wheel Play or slop again

Just purchased 2014 Sunseeker 2650s 2,000 miles new. Had alignment set to caster +5 on both sides one more than the other to compensate for road crown. I continue to have one inch of steering wheel play. Many say that is normal, had 2009 GMC 2500 Van for 15 years, 200,000miles no real wheel play. Will Saf T plus or Roadmaster or other stablizer decrease this significantly or is it just the old design steering box normal. All help appreciated. Many thanks.

Only 2,000 on an almost 2 year old coach. Previous owner paid a pretty penny for those 2,000 miles. Good buy used on your end!

Regarding slop, doesn't sound right and sounds like your intuition is probably telling you the same. Should still be under Ford's warranty... Don't throw anymore money or parts at it. Have Ford check it out.

Would check for slop in the steering sector itself and tie rod ends.
