Storage compartment repair - sewer-side

It appears somehow that my storage compartment (on the sewer side) got damaged. Very weird, don't know how it happened, and am not ruling out vandalism. I'm trying to figure out the best way to repair this, mainly to seal from water and maintain compartment integrity. Any suggestions?

Fiberglass cloth and resin?

Loctite 8 times stronger adhesive.
Comes in regular caulking gun size.
Make sure everything is dry and sand well.
The stuff dries super hard and strong.

two comments:

not knowing the material it does not look like rotocast plastic, I would take a small sample and go to a tractor supply or some such supply store and buy a like sample material plastic item. you may well be able to repair using a heat gun by welding. poke a hole in new test materal and see if your bay sample will weld to it. we actually have used clorox bottles to fix a leaky coleman conoe.
you can sand down the inside to make it smooth while adding girth to the bottom side.

an alternative is to use starboard and 5200 hull sealent, you can find at west marine online. I use it to mount switch boxes on the transom on my fishing boat. this is a none flexible fix, where weld is plyable.
I would replace the white sewer access plate as it looks cracked.

I would use an RV black tank repair kit. They are available at RV parts stores for about $10.

I had a storage compartment melt, apparently from a leaking bottle of Dawn dishwasher detergent. The gallon bottle was full and developed a crack along the bottom that allowed the contents to leak out into the bottom of the compartment. When I discovered the bottle was empty, I expected that the bottom of the compartment would be awash in Dawn but discovered that it was dry. The compartment bottom had a hole and what looked like a tear in the plastic. When I examined the compartment from underneath, it looked like the plastic had just dripped down.

I sealed the compartment using silicone seal then custom fit a support board across the bottom of the compartment to prevent any stress being placed on the crack area. There's been no problems with it since the repair was completed a couple of years ago.

That is good info. I was not aware of a repair kit for that plastic.
