Thanks for info....I think More stuff! And the gas shocks on storage doors is work'n just fine....2 left for tomorrow.

Ours had some caulking holding it closed......Finally got it open......Now I leave it unlocked all the time......I take apiece of pool tube sponge and jam it up underneath the cover to keep it closed in transit...works!!!!!!!!!!! J

Changed mine to steel "mini" hinges today. Easy job and works better. Will be on the lookout for a new one anyway because I was able to use a pocket knife to trim a little plastic to make the hinges fit flatter. That's really cheap plastic.

The SAM-1 has an internal slide door so you can just remove the original junk flapper.

That's what I did with mine. Hardest part was holding up the vent to remove and replace the screws that hold the vent. Not hard to drill out spot welds. Main thing is keep a picture or drawing of wiring before removal.
