Sub Woofer acting up

I started getting an audible boo (not boom) sound when we turn on the light above the kitchen table (2860)
While listening to the stereo.
Then on the way home boom sounds at random when we turned on the stereo to listen to music
I haven't had time to trouble shoot yet cause a screw driver is necessary and I had to get back to work
But anyone else have issues lately with the woofer?
For anyone new,you may or may not be aware that there is a sub woofer under the forward dinette bench

I had the same problem. I have a 2014 3010. Anything electrical I turned on or even opened the fridge would make that sound. I came home from vacation early not knowing what it was. Took it in and the woofer had burned. Luckily no fire. Just removed it and took it to a stereo shop and had a new one put it.

Had the same problem. Took the &#%%@!!* thing out. I'm not into having my fillings vibrating out of my teeth or the sudden unexpected loud THOOT every time any electrical relay, switch, A/C fan speed/ compressor engage/ disengage or device cycled .

Sub Woofer acting up

Thanks for the feedback
I was hoping it was a loose connection but it looks like I'm going to get to try out that Good Sam extended warranty that I pay so much for
Did you get a comparable unit or Upgrade it?

I did not replace it . I have very good hearing and I do not need a sub bass to rattle the neighbors dishes.

I replaced it with a little better one but not much more on the cost. I had gotten past my warranty so just paid out of pocket.

I had a stereo shop look at it
Swapped out the audio in wire and all is good
The guy messed with the setting and it sounds a lot better
It will crank,I just don't know where I would crank it it other than hanging out at a tailgate party at a Rock Concert

Yes,Quiet is good while camping, but I do like my music while driving. It keeps me alert when I'm Rocking out.
Also the woofer is a nice part of the surround sound for watching Action movies on those inevitable rainy afternoons so I do want it to function properly

Our 2014 3010 DS, I have the radio on alot while driving and i can hear it just fine, Does not have to be turned up to loud, I can talk to my DW without any problems while its on. The unit is actually pretty quiet while driving.

Been all through the sub woofer. You need to put a ground loop isolation device on it and everything will sound better. Here is a link to the device - hook it up to the RCA end - Audiopipe IS160 Ground Loop Isolator Audiopipe - Walmart.com

7 bucks and well worth it. I put one on the TV Audio RCA as well and my surround sound is sweet - no issues with the generator buzzing as well.
