Your battery is in wrong. I had the same issue. Called the Jensen rep and she called back in 60 seconds already knowing the issue.

Apparently they get this enough, I wish they would put something in the manual. When you open the remote battery plate...it looks like you just drop the battery in. You actually have to put the battery UNDER the little metal tab that is there.

Maybe I can post a picture here...I'm guessing there will be more trouble souls.

You got it! I didn't think the battery was in right but I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Thanks very much.
