Sunseeker 2300 rear tv wall mount?
I want to put a tv on the spot on the bedroom wall where the outlet for the cable and 12 volt/110 volt receptacle is. What is the proper area to attach a wall mount to, as there seems to be no studs except on the edges? TIA Floyd

There is a 1/2" thick plywood backer located 42 1/2" up from bottom of cabinet. The backer is then 12" tall and spans 22 3/8" wide. I will try to upload a photo from inside of cabinet to show what it looks like(or similar to).

Ok just so I am clear on this, this backer is actually back to side (right side) to the refrigerator and right next to the pleated room divider? if that is accurate then it is right above the furnished outlets for the ac/dc/ 120v. and cable plug...correct?? Floyd

Backer panel on my 2011 Sunseeker 2650
I have my outlets, cable plug, DC power outey and Thermostat in the bed room on the back wall of the Shower stall, is this backer plate the same dimension off of the floor? When facing the wall, the pleated bi-fold is to the right.

I hope this thread will continue because I am tackling the same project. I purchased a used 2005 Sunseeker 2600. I'm going to put a 19" flatscreen in the bedroom on the wall that is shared by the bathroome shower. Midway up this wall is an electrical outlet and a coax cable. The previous owner had installed a TV shelf at this location. I pulled that down, took the cover off the coax cable and looked inside. The material for the wall was 1/2" thick and I found two 1" thick wall studs one right next to the coax cable and the electrical outlet was attaced to this stud. The other about 12-14" to the right. When I push on the wall in this area it flexes which still indicates to me that it isn't the stoutest structure. Can the locking TV mount that I will purchase from Camping World be mounted here. Is the 1/2" material put there just for that purpose? If so, what is the safest way to attach the mount?
Thanks
Jerry

That unit was designed with the shelf in mind. 2005, the lightweight flat screens were still not standard on everything. There i no glue there, you can always take that panel off and put in whatever back you want. Or tie into the back that the shelf was mounted to.

Easy - just did this on the weekend. Pick yourself up a piece of 1/4" mahogany "banana board" or similar. I cut myself a piece 12" x 18" and painted it to match the wall of the camper. Make sure you find some landmarks as to avoid drilling into the sewer vent that may be located in that wall. I then glued and screwed the painted wood to the wall about horizontally (long ways) a foot or so down from the ceiling on that wall. This now gives me a strengthened area to attached the tv mount as well as the inverter. The glued wood easily spreads the weightt of the LED tv - the sheer load capacity of this setup is just fine to do what you want. Pix later if I get time.
