this model is very low to the ground, and the sewer pipe is even lower. this makes it very difficult to use a portable tank to empty the grey or black tanks because when you attach a sewer hose the portable tank is higher, making gravity your enemy. has anyone had issue dealing with this and have any recommendations? i've looked to see if there was some type of attachment that you could put on that would help but can't find anything.

You could manually raise the rear leveling jacks or drive onto a couple blocks of wood.

Since the entire point of using a portable is to eliminate (pun intended) the need to break camp, having to move the unit or pull the slides in to “tilt” it and then relevel to deploy slides is not going to be on my list of solutions. I use a 4-Wheeler with no problems however that requires the use of a cam lock to bayonette adapter. That makes the problem worse! So to overcome the problem I select a site that is noticably “nose up” (defined as a 6” rise over the length of the wheelbase). Then I put matching height blocks under the duallys and rear jacks. That incline still leaves at least 4” to raise the rear to level. Now that a full 10” has been added to the rear height, the problem is solved. I have pulled into back in sites in order to get the nose up as most sites are nose down for drainage. I carry plenty of water hose and 65’ of power cable if needed.
