Sunseeker 2860DS question

I posted this on another forum also, but I only got one responce, so I hope no one minds, Thank you again gmacklem.

I'm hoping Joshua or Bclemens could weigh in on how it's designed to work.

Just a quick question, we looked a a Sunseeker 2860DS yesterday. We like the floorplan and layout and just wanted some info from current owners. We noticed the bedroom slide was out a little farther at the bottom than the top (~1/4" +), was told that because it was driven from the bottom, it was for a tight closure/seal when closed. I also looked at the FG roof which I like, but noticed the seam/trim on the roof at the edge and wanted to know if this caused puddling or poor drainage.

I have a 2009 2860DS No issues with either of the slides or roof leaks. Dont know if this helps you or not.

2014 2860DS
I know what you are talking about because I noticed both of your questioned areas.
No problems with either slide.
I'm very anal about slide care and they havent let me down in a year of trips.
I lube the gear tracks under the slides with anti corrosive spray
I lube the rubber seals with the foam lubricant.
I clean and wax the slide sides and especially the top under the topper so there is no debris and smooth operation.
I store on a slightly unlevel spot so roof always drains to a corner gutter drip and so far camping I always have a nice air conditioning drip off one of the corners.I keep the corners free of gunk and black buildup.
No problems with pooling
