Sunseeker 3010DS Blackwater Tank Flushing System

My blackwater tank flushing system seems to be a casualty of recent cold weather in Texas because instead of flushing the tank it flooded my bathroom. From where do I access it for repairs? Is it behind the bedroom dresser drawers? Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Does it have the fresh water flush? A hose connection to flush tank?

DrJMB, yes, it is the hose connection for a freshwater flush.

You're looking for a "vacuum breaker" mounted about 5-6 feet above the floor maybe in a closet or void. There will be two pex piping runs to it each of 1/2" size. The piping is from the hose connection to the bottom of the valve and the outlet leads to the side of the tank. I prevents flow from the tank to the fresh water system by not allowing the water to flow "backwards". If the seating disc gets stuck the supply water will flood the space its in. You know the approx. location already, where all the water came from. Easy to change or repair.

did you mopen the black water dump valve before your flushed the tank. I was told if you don't it will come back up thru the toilet

So does the black tank flusher have to be winterized??? I never gave it a thought.

But to your question, as someone else asked, did you have your dump valve open? Is it blocked up?

Yes it should, at least low compressed air through it, some push anti-freeze. It supposed to self drain but I don't take a chance.

The flush is designed to be gravity flow after flush.

Thanks VinceU and Fonzie, I did find the valve behind a set of dresser drawers. I have used the flush before and it worked fine. And yes, I did have the blackwater valve open,
VinceU, you stated that if the flap was stuck the valve would do what I described. Is there a way to move the flap back into the correct position, or is this a case for replacement of the valve? It's in an extremely inconvenient position and I'd hate to even try that feat of contortion.

Its easier to unscrew the two gray caps and change the valve. To repair you must remove the large cap, deal with the valve internal parts of which at least one is defective, more difficult route. Take it to Home D or Lowe and match it up. Called an inline vacuum breaker. It's required to be there by Code.
