Sunseeker 3010DS furnace not warming

I checked my furnace today and it didn't get warm. How do i check to see if it is igniting? The manual did say to use a flashlight and not a lighter, but I'm not sure where to look. Thanks for your assistance.

You should be able to hear a click when the gas solenoid valve opens. If you are outside at the furnace's wall vent you should hear a whoosh as the gas ignites. If it ignites and stays lit, you'll feel hot exhaust coming out of the vent. If the controller doesn't detect a flame quickly, it will stop the fan.

The instructions for looking at the flame through a peephole are okay when it's on a bench but would be about impossible where my furnace is installed.
