Sunseeker 3010DS - Jensen 32" question

The 12V power cable for my tv doesn't work anymore. The little metal "nipple" is stuck inside. I've tried everything but I think the next step is to buy a new one. I'm traveling right now so I can't order the Jensen one in time. I want to run to a Best Buy type store and buy a universal 12V charger with different tips. My question... do you know how many amps this thing needs? I saw one the other day that had different settings... 1.5a, 2a, 3a, etc. All the way up to 6amps. Does anyone know? It's for the Jensen JE3212LED model

I would think a big truck stop that stocks a lot of 12v products might have a 7.5 amp rated adapter.

The power cable end seems to be a really poor design. Ours was acting up when we picked up our new unit this spring and has already failed. Our dealer has ordered one for us from Forester. It seems really flimsy. I may consider finding a more durable replacement as well. Good luck in your hunt.

I have a couple questions on this same TV. How do you remove this tv from where it is mounted? Where are the HDMI inputs? I also have a 3010.

Just grab hold off the sides, push it up towards the ceiling, then slowly start to pull toward you. It will come out of the bracket very easily. The hdmi ports are on the back

I just wired it direct and did away with male plug. It wouldn't stay in, so now I have an extra 12v socket.

The HDMI connectors are located on the left side, real tight fit, found mine using my flash light.
