Is there anyplace where the Forest River factory is that I can buy the recliners and have them switched out with the sofa?

Our Factory is in Elkhart, IN. We don't typically do changes after the coach is made. You would need to speak with your dealer about aftermarket work and that's still at their discretion.

We didn't expect a direct exchange. We were going to pay for the sofa recliners. Alan

Recliners

If your handy and able to do the switch yourself you'll save at least a thousand dollars! The dealers will do it but will cost 2 grand plus, and it's not that big of a job! I ordered my recliners from 4seating.com, they fit perfect, and at a cost of less than $750 total for the chairs delivered, plywood and carpet. The sofa come right out and the recliners went in easy, my wife and I did the whole switch and are very happy and they look great!

Yes it is was a 3010DS, 2013. 65X42" 3/4" plywood base with a 5" front and short sides, will have to measure them, slotted out for the seatbelt bolts, after removing the seat belts, fitted then carpeted, reinstall seatbelts when platform is in place to hold platform in place, you can bring the seat belts up through the back sides of the recliners,I didn't fasten the chairs down because I don't think they will go anywhere. Hope this is helpful.

LarryM, where did you get your recliners? My 3010 measures 66 inches and change not the 68 that bclems refers to. do you have a part number also?

RV Recliner inquiry

I just ordered that unit from "Factory Surplus RV" in Elkhart, IN. 800-325-1461. Item # per their web site is: W50277, Home Theater with Center Console.
Indicates it is 65", which matches the current standard sofa in my 3010DS.
Keeping my fingers crossed, I can remove the old, install the new!
No dealers will tackle the job.

Thanks for the info, I replaced my sofa on our 3010 with a lazy boy love seat wall hugger. We love it.

The recliner set we purchased from an aftermarket place in South Bend came in pcs and that made it easy to get it into the RV. However, putting it together inside the RV and rotating it into position took some work. The sofa-bed that was in the RV was also easy to get out, once you disassembled it.
In retrospect, I would have gone to Lazyboy and bought a pair of more "comfortable" recliners (wall hugger style a must) and put them in, instead. Could have done that for the same almost $900 from the vendor.

You can get back in touch with me if you need more details.

Rekwiat, I like the love seat. Looks sharp and comfy. This floorplan works well with these.
