No we did not.We feel you would lose two seat belt spots and at this time we still would like to take our grandchildren along. On one occasion my sister came along for a short trip and was able to sit one the couch. We find the couch comfortable except that the TV is at a bad angel for the person sitting closest to the overhead bunk( on the couch)
We did purchase an extra comfortable slim style lawn chair and one of us sits on that in the evenings and one on the couch. We also purchased two soft bean bag style footstools that are nice for putting your feet up.
Hope this helps!

TV

So....we have just spent 3 weeks travelling to Florida with our 3050s and after reading all the posts on the tv issue we discovered if we push the tv back so it is about 45 degrees out from the wall instead of pulling it all the way forward it is much better for both people on the couch!Too bad we didn't try it earlier.
We had a great holiday and enjoy reading all Forest River Forum questions and answers. Thanks Everyone!
Has anyone upgraded their privacy curtains - I really hate the plain beige colour so thinking of getting a nice colour and using the existing with Velcro as a lining!

We're looking at the sun shades that others are buying on here for the Sprinter.

I think it looks a little hokey...but it is really effective. Solar reflector keeps it cooler, customer fit to the windows and you get full access to the cab area. especially nice for those that have swivel seats. We would then eliminate the cab curtain and do the solar shades instead.
