Well, we took the plunge and bought one of the Sunseeker 3050's we were looking at. Feel pretty good about the pricing we ended up with. After the snow and ice was finally done, I took my boys on a two night trip to a State Park not too far away. Some experienced friends were also in their RV near us, so that was helpful for a first outing! We had a great time and everything went pretty smoothly. Looks like it will be fun learning all the ins and outs of the camper. Between now and the first part of May, I think we'll be able to go on another 3-4 short trips, with my wife joining us and getting to try it out too.
By the way--back to one of my questions--I found I was able to easily adjust the rear camera up and down (by hand, of course) to get a different view. But only one view -- I can still see how a second camera might be nice if towing (and towing is a whole 'nother issue I have to consider now!).
I'm sure I'll have many more questions as we learn about our Sunseeker and maybe in time, I'll learn enough to help others, just as you've helped me out -- thanks everyone!
