Sunseeker 3100ss

Have just completed my first trip in my new Sunseeker.
All went well but I do have a question about the steering.

The steering is very vague and loose.
Is this normal and has anyone added a stabilizer with good results?

Thanks

Depends on year and mileage...but do a search for "Alignment" and you'll get some good tips in there as well.

Steering

Branchman, like bclemens says a lot can depend on age and mileage.

What year 3100SS do you have?
What chassis? Ford or Chevy?

Here is a thread from May of this year that might help you some.

I would always recommend a steering stabilizer.

I would recommend having it aligned at camping weight as well.

The vehicle come aligned with no weight on suspension and when you add all your gear, watchamacallits , whisker do's and whisker dont's it tends to throw things off.
