Hi Joe. I can’t read the part number off your hitch or see if is 7500 lb or higher. Can you please post a clear picture of just the part number sticker or just post the buyers part number? I would really appreciate it.
I want to upgrade my hitch and am getting the run around big time.
Does anyone else have a 7,500 or heavier hitch on there Ford 450 frame?
I’m looking for manufacturers and part numbers.
Please post them if you have them.
Thanks
My 2018 has the Buyers product company, part # 3024734. Max trailer 7500lbs max tongue 750 lbs. I’ll try to post a pic later.
That’s what’s shown in MrJoe’s photo. If you open the attachment you can zoom in to see the part #3024734 and max trailer weight 7500lbs

I had a 2012 with the 7500 lb hitch. BC helped me out and sent me a replacement And my dealer installed it. I don’t know about 2011 models but 2012 and forward have the capability for 7500 lbs. My Sunseeker was the 2012 3010DSF.

Here it is found it! Model number on left.
My 2012 Lexington on the same Ford E450 chassis only has a gross combined weight rating of 20,000 pounds so if you actually towed 7500 pounds you would have been over weight based on the 14,500 gvw. The gcwr on the E450 was increased in 2013 or 2014 as I recall.

Yeah, I understand that, The Sunseeker 2012 chassis was 22000 for the GCVWR. My Jeep was about 5200 lbs so I upgraded just to make sure that wasn’t an issue.
