Sunseeker Electrical

I have a 2007 Sunseeker on the Ford 350 chasis.

When I plug into shoreline the shoreside breaker trips. Doesn't matter if I plug into 30 Amp or 20 Amp, as soon as plug prongs make contact the breaker trips.

I have turned everything I can find off including refrigerator and water heater. It still trips just as soon as I plug in.

To troubleshoot, I have flipped all coach breakers off. I can then plug in without the shoreside breaker tripping. As soon as I flip the coach Main 20 Amp breaker to the on position the shoreside breaker trips.

At no time do any of the coach breakers trip.

I disassembled the plug on the 30 Amp power cable looking for any dead short between the ground post and hot side. It was fine.

What should be the next steps? (I have tried multiple shoreside power posts at various locations including some that I know work for other campers.)

Steve.

Generator works fine. No issues when running off of it.

Has to be in the cord or its connection @ the transfer switch.

Check for shorted wire @ transfer switch?

Transfer switch is probably in under bed. I will look into it and see.

Has the shore power post been checked? I would check that before tearing the electrical apart on my rv. I spent hours troubleshooting my 5th wheel only to find out that the 50A connection on the power post was bad. Just a thought.

What concerns me is that I tried several posts at various locations around the park. It is an old facility and it could just be a combination of an older RV and old, worn, and sensitive breakers. I just wanted to see if there was anything obvious (read that as "easy") I should be checking.
