Sunseeker heater question

Hey all, a few weeks ago we used our heater for the first time in our new (to us) 2014 3170DS. Heater worked great, but whenever the heater was on the whole house fan seemed to run automatically too and that thing is SUPER loud. Our cheap little thermostat appears to be heat on, cool on, or fan on... with associated temperatures. Is there a way to have the heat on without the whole fan blowing? or would that take rewiring or a better thermostat?

Set thermostat to fan, select auto. Now the AC fan should not run.
Then put back to heat.

... and the way to select AU (auto) is to cycle to Fan then use + or - keys to cycle from HI to LO to AU.

There are different models of thermostats installed in these RVs. A picture of yours would help.

I have to ask. What are you calling your "heater". Your ceiling Heat pump (if you have one) or your gas furnace?. Again, What are you calling you "Whole House Fan"?
