How do you remove moisture fom the inside on side view cameras it is there every time it rains or is it something dealer should do its a new 2015 3050s dealer didn't fix last time had dried out by the time they looked at Thanks Boso
Both my cameras fog up but not the back it is clear as it can be I do use my side cameras when they work maybe somebody will have the right answers Boso
That very well could be but how do you get into the case that holds the lense seal I m sure I could figure out but don't want to ruin warranty if it is more complicated than I think it is
Can you create the same 'problem' rain makes by using a water hose? Was the temperature warm or cold during the rain? The dealership will have to replace the seal or the whole mirror, because it can't be good for the camera for this to be happening.
It was warm when raining and yes I think I can get them to dysfunction with water hose and if I can im going to carry by a FR dealer so they can see what's going on even if I can't get appointment at that time they want go to the trouble to try to duplicate the problem I didn't buy from them can't blame them
That's where it was Saturday when it rained picked up Monday didn't notice until I had pulled out of the lot should have carried back then but was in hurry to get home 1.5 hrs. from campingworld that's my dealer myrtle beach
Best advice we can give you is to make an appointment with CW and tell them what's happening and to create the problem with a hose. You may have to leave it for a day or two, but keep persisting and eventually they'll fix the problem. May have to replace the mirrors but, remember, the 'squeaky wheel gets fixed.'
