Sunseeker transfer switch location?

Looking to help my parents with their sunseeker. They have no power to the distribution box unless on generator. They have power to the plug going into the camper but it is not making it to the panel. I want to test the flow to the transfer switch and beyond to see if it is faulty. Like I said all works fine if they run the generator. I did ch clean around the generator but could not find it. I was thinking it would be near the power panel under their bed. They have a 2450 I think. Thanks.

Where does the outside cord go into the unit, inside near that is where it should be. Mine is under the door of the bed opposite the fuse/breaker location.

Under the foot of the bed. Lift mattress and a compartment is a panel that lifts out. That's where mine is located. Hope this gives you an idea where to look doc73.

The power goes into the back of the camper by the drivers brake light. Sorry for the late delay, we were hiking in a no signal zone. We will be looking for it in a bit.

Check out the thread "Lost my 30 amp power" and then check out post #14. They had the same issue and it was a loose wire behind the plug on the side of the motorhome.

The transfer switch has to be near the distribution box and where the power comes in. Hope its something simple as a loose wire rather then needing a new transfer switch. Do you have a meter to check it?

On our old GTS 2800 it was behind the power distribution panel under the refrigerator. On our new TS 2390 it is under the bed. I don't think there is any consistency on where it is placed...

Yeah.. I was trying to give FR the benefit of the doubt... LOL

They were even wrapped in tape so yes just not installed correctly and took 40,000miles to finally shake loose.

WOW !!!
The tape must have not been installed very well either hey ???
Sounds to me like someone knew the nuts were not on right,,,
so they tried to tape them on ???
I have seen several wire nuts over the years where the wire was missing from inside the nut,,, we must trash those !!!

I am sure it did not help they had a fairly large gauge wire (stranded) wrapped around a fairly large gauge solid wire. They did not seem to mate well together.
