Surge Protector

I was wondering what most of you use for a Surge Protector. I have a Class C and had some problems on my last trip. N
I'm not sure if I want to use the portable or hard wired.
All your suggestions are much appreciated.

Progressive Industries Portable:

Extension cord plugged into CG power, PI plugged into extension cord, PI locked in storage bay, MH power cord plugged into PI.

I just installed a Progressive industries hardwired, I really like the display. Very easy to install.

Bought this one with the lite, does a great job saved us once in Rapid City, SD. and once in Donnelly, ID.
