So I took mine in for the "Big Alignment" yesterday, the shop called me back and told me the ball joints needed to be replaced. My 2012 SS has 58k miles on it and after looking at it with the mechanic, I believe it's a good call.
We'll see how it rides today when I pick it up, I plan on hopping on the freeway and seeking out some big rigs...lol

Loose ball joints can certainly be the cause of your wandering. It doesn't take much play to really mess up your caster and camber. However even with 58K miles I'm surprised they wore out since the ball joints on the Ford twin I beam suspensions only move on turning and not with up and down suspension movement as typical upper and lower control arm designs.

I remember years ago the fleet dept was always replacing king pin bushings on fords with I-beam before they went to ball joints.

I picked our SS up from the tire place a few hours ago, I took it for a spin and got it up to 50ish, I didn't have time to get her up on the freeway, but it seems better. Definitely feels more stable.

I am taking a trip on the 26th and if I have more comments I'll post them. If you want to see my alignment specs just shoot me a PM.
