Switch Identity

Hi,
We have not yet picked up our 3170, but are getting excited. Looking at pictures - wondering what the red switch under the awning control is.

I'm just guessing, but I'd say tank heaters. Maybe someone with a 3170 will pipe up!

It's for the yellow porch light under the awning.

X2

Water heater (gas) & tank heater switch would be on the control panel.

The switch is for the exterior light and yes the water heater switch is on the main control panel located adjacent to the refrigerator.

What is the one to the left on the bottom?

I was asking my husband about that yesterday. His comment was, "It's some kind of battery thing." lol...that didn't help my understanding much.

Yep... Porch light... On the control panel is the Gas Water heater. This raised my question of "Why is there not an electric option for the water heater?" Once I had my tour and found out that the electric option for the water heater is buried under a few wires inside the water heater panel. This also raises another question "Why is there not a switch for the electric water heater mode?" Whats the deal with that?

I have no problem with flipping the switch, but wonder why does it have to be so secret?
