I just bought a new 2500TS Friday. Dealer knew nothing about how to work the swivel seats. I worked on them when I got home, what the dealer told me about how to make them swivel was wrong. I managed to get the passenger side to work fine but the drivers side will slide in at the 45 degree angle but it will not swivel. There is a pin in bottom that is supposed to go up into a hole in the base of the swivel part but the pin does not line up? Is there a way to adjust something to get the pin to line up and go up into the hole? I would prefer not to take it back to the dealer where I bought it, its an hour trip and even the head service man had no idea how the swivel seats work. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You have to slide it at 45 degrees with some oomph. If you slide it slowly it never gets there...sort of slam it over gently

I did that, hard, easy, etc. it will not swivel. The stainless steel pin that comes up from the bottom does not go into the upper hole, in any position that the seat is in. You can see this pin in the early posts pictures above. Without this pin in the upper hole the seat will not swivel. It is about a 1/4 inch off, the bracket it is on was either bent or put on wrong. What I can not tell without taking the seat apart is there a way to adjust something to get the pin to line up? thanks

I have the exact same issue i had quite a workout trying to make my swivel, it only moved sideways but i could never get it to swivel. I figured there must be something i was missing. I was out of breath and gave up after a while. I may have the pin issue you mentioned. Any pointers welcome as well.
