Tank Heating Pads

When I purchased my MH 2104 2860DS I was told that it came with heat pads for the tanks. Before my year is up I am trying to make sure that everything is in working order. According to the manual there is suppose to be some switch? Could anyone please tell me how these work? Even though it is warm out I should be able to feel if they are functioning. Thanks in advance for your advice!

Switch is on the convenience panel marked Arctic Pac.

Heat pads have a built in thermostat. They will not heat up until temperature drops to around 40F.
