Tank Size Discrepancy

The Sunseeker specification page on the Forest River website lists the fresh water capacity on most coaches at 50 gallons. But the new downloadable Sunseeker PDF brochure lists the capacity at 44. Joshua or Brian, can you provide some clarity here? Also, I'm curious why the 2650 has diminished black/grey capacities at 28/28 rather than the usual 39/39. Mark...

Fresh water capacity is often stated in 2 different ways. The tank is 44 gallons, but the water heater holds 6 gallons. So the tank capacity of 44 + water heater 6 equals 50 gallons of fresh water.

I'm not Joshua or Bryan, but RvBill3 speaks the truth.

On edit: this won't be the last discrepancy you find.

I don't have a Sunseeker but my fresh tank capacity is also listed as 50.
After running down to where the pump was sucking air and the little red lights were still showing 1/3 tank I put a bucket under the fresh tank drain and
got out 9 more gallons!!
My pump suction fitting was in the lower side of the tank but the drain was in the bottom.
I removed the drain fitting and replaced it with a T and put pump on side of the T and drain valve out the bottom.
Problem fixed!
9 more gallons of USEABLE fresh water.
That's enough for another navy shower!

What they said. If you look at last years brochure it specifically states.....
"FRESH WATER (GAL) W/ WH" 50 gallons

That is 50 gallons w/ water heater. Some mfg's list their total water and do not specify that the water heater is included. I have moved on and did not do the brochure this year, thus the change in verbiage and number.

As for the black/gray. It was probably incorrectly listed before. We had standardized most of the tank sizes and location. The 2650 has them in a different spot and so they are probably a different size and they just got rolled into all the others.

Connecting to the low point drain makes much better sense than having the pickup where it sucks air at 1/3 level like my Aviator does. Great idea! My project for this weekend. TNX
