Television-DVD Settings

I have a 2013 FR SS 3170DS. We are on our first long trip and for the most part, we are enjoying our RV experience.
We have 3 TV's installed, a main swing out in the front of the coach, opposite the bunk room, and the rear bedroom.
A control box allows source control for all three, i.e. roof antenna, dvd, cable, etc. The DVD unit is with the tv opposite the bunk area. The DVD will play on that tv, but setting the other two to DVD nothing.
Any ideas what I'm missing? Thanks for any help.

Sounds like this could be Sunseeker specific so without pictures, others familiar with audio visual concepts in RVs won't be of much help.

My guess is you're "missing" the cable(s) from the DVD player to the other 2 TV's. It's not unusual for the DVD player to be connected only to the main TV. You should be able to verify this by looking at the back of each TV to see how many inputs are present. Compare the configuration of the connections on the back of the main TV with the other 2 TV's if your not familiar with typical TV connections/cables.

There is only one input to each of the TV's, but I believe that the control box should route the selected signal? Attached are some photos.

Look at the rear of the "router" box and see if there are cables connected to the DVD outputs of the other TVs. It seems that the box should be capable of doing what you want, but not externally wired for it.

Issue solved. Output from DVD connected directly to bunk TV. It is not connected to system controller. FR used a control box that provided false hope. ;-) Will pick up small DVD player and connect to main TV, much easier solution.

On my 3170 the DVDs are played through the dash player for the living room and bedroom TV's.

This is how you use the surround sound. I have a Magnadyne unit so instructions may be a bit different. Hope this helps.

How to use sound surround system with TV
Turn on Tv and Magnadyne Dash unit. On the dash unit pick Home in upper right corner.
Use arrow in lower right to go to next screen
Pick AV2.
TV should be playing through house speakers and cab speakers.
Turn off cab speakers by rotating switch located at key hooks to B position.
To turn off TV speakers. Use the TV menu, go to Audio and choose TV Speakers and choose off, if desired.
The TV remote will control volume level however, max volume is set in the dash unit as well as the equalizer settings.
