Thank you!

Just thank you for all your help and knowledge. I've learned so much about our Sunseeker this week on this board. I appreciate it!

How is it going so far? I am expecting delivery of our Forester in 4weeks and been following your thread. Good luck and safe travels.

So far, so good! I wish there wasn't so much hockey this weekend or I'd be camping again this weekend! May be sleeping in it in the driveway though! lol

I second HockeyMom! I've had my rig out for three weekends now, two shakedown local trips and a slightly longer road trip. Each time I've run across questions and issues, and each time a quick search, a follow up question to existing threads, or a new question has set me straight in no time.

Getting ready to winterize this weekend and looking forward to being able to bring it back out for more fun.

Ninja, have you hooked up any separate DVD players to the front and rear TV? My kids are going to need to be able to watch while driving. I assume it will be a piece of cake and plan on doing it this weekend, but wondering if anyone else had.

What do you mean by separate? If you just mean not using the dash dvd for the rear TVs then yes super easy. Just plug HDMI cable into tv and plug it into a available outlet. The downfall is you will have to run the generator to power the DVD player where you otherwise wouldn't have to if utilizing the in dash dvd. :/

I can't run the dash DVD while driving to the living room tv, or can I? It told me to set the emergency brake to play a DVD. I need to be able to play DVD on the living room TV during travel for my kids. The separate DVD for the bedroom TV is for me and dh to watch movies when the kids are sleeping.

Gotcha. Yes you certainly can! You have to set the parking brake to view the dvd on the in dash DVD itself but it will still play on the living room tv. You will just use the dash remote to hit play, stop ect. We have a 2014 3170 and ALWAYS have a movie going for the kids. Not sure what unit you have. Ours has the magnadyne switchbox which is confusing for sure at first but does the job once you get the hang of it.

Hockeytownmom, No you don't need to set parking brake to play DVD through dash while driving.Try it while you are in the driveway and see how it works, real easy.

Ohhhhh, I haven't figured out how NOT to play it on the dash as well as the TV! . I guess I better get to reading that radio book. The walk through guy did say we could spend 3 hours on the radio alone.

Have you figured out how to get a DVD to play in the living room? Because if you have done that then you have it figured out.

I have, but it still plays on the dash, and I don't know how to turn that off.

Once you disengage the parking brake the dash will lock out in DVD mode.
