The "re" in frigerator

There is a frozen juice holder in the door of our 2652 frig. That annoys me, I want the frig and freezer maxed out with inventory.

So while DW was making pork chop bake with French's onions the six oz plastic box was making threatening looks back at me. Well, I filled it with just about a quart of ice and put it in the juice holder. Seems that it will hold two of these containers. Now we can have the first six cocktails while the ice maker tools up production.

We also ordered an additional freezer shelf and a second freezer door tray.

Dometic Freezer Wire Shelf 2932627025 (S110-460730) = $29.90
Dometic Freezer Refrigerator Upper Top Door Shelf (S110-460660) = $22.76

Ya, there are pics in the misc album if you are bored..

I guess I'm not the only one annoyed by the frozen juice holder. A waste of space IMO. There should have been another door shelf instead.

Wonder if there isn't a plastic container that would hold spare ice, etc. that would fit that spot. Don't think I'd want onion flavored ice . . .

I put a couple of those 5x7 or whatever freezee ice packs in there for the little cooler when we go boating, or have also put a couple of those gel wraps for owees in there, as somebody always seems to get a burn of some kind.

DH and I discussed the same thing about the frig in our Chaparral 360ibl. Makes us both crazy. We will probably order the 2nd wire shelf and the other part, too. Makes no sense to have it done that way.

dollars and little sense...

Shelf and wire rack came in today $65.28 ouch!
Here are the part numbers. Yes, there are pictures in my misc album. Plastic shoe boxes are the ticket...

Baking soda took care of the onion over night.... Cutting the brats to length and individually wrapping and freezing is a good idea.

That's what I use it for. I don't buy frozen juice. The hamburger fits. Or I put my frozen vegetables in it. Or just whatever fits. But I like the idea of an ice holder that someone suggested.
