Tire air pressure

Can others give me an idea what air pressure they have in tires? Figure the Ford placard in the door jamb is for the chassis without a coach attached. And then the number on the tires themselves aren't specific to the way these are being used. It's a 2013 Sunseeker 3100 on a Ford chassis if that matters. Thanks!

Check the recommended pressure on the side of your tires. If you know the weight of your vehicle in some cases you can use a little less pressure if your tires are rated higher then the carring capacity of your vehicle.

Supposedly the door pressures were put there by ForestRiver and are appropriate for your coach. Tire pressures are max pressures for those tires, and have no way of knowing, at manufacture when its printed, what machine that they'll be used on, My only equivocation is whether ForestRiver updated the door sticker. According to our dealer, they did.

I follow the Forest River door placard: 65 psi front and 80 psi rear (Chevy chassis).

OP here -

I checked the unit (didn't have access to it when I originally posted) and it does have a door jamb placard placed by FR. It said 75 psi for front and 80 psi for rear. I only trust door jamb placards. The psi on the tires are just maxes for the tire and don't apply to how the tire is being used. Was thinking the door jamb placard might have been for the incomplete vehicle from Ford. Was happy to see FR had placed it.

I had never topped off air pressure. Chassis was manufactured Feb '12 so that might have been when it was last done. I was running in the 60's. took a long time for my little Black & Decker air station to add that much air to those big tires. I put in about 4 psi below the reco as it was colder than normal so allows for some expansion when it warms up.

I didn't crawl under to do the spare. Figure if / when I need the spare, will call a service to change the tire anyhow and they can top it off.

I also added to the Firestone Ride Rites. They were like 5 - 10 psi. I brought them up to 40 psi which I figured was a good middle of the road amount.

I have a 2006 Lexington 255 GTS. The Ford certificate on the door post says 65psi front and 80psi rear. However the label inside the coach cabinet says 60 front and 65 rear. That is a big difference. Which one do I follow?

Our door has 75 front, 80 rear. That's what I've been running. I'll be weighing it soon just out of curiosity, but have no intentions of dropping the pressures even if I could. Rides great as is.

That's what I run 75 front 80 rear and I've never been on the side of the road so that's what I'm sticking with regardless of a sticker.

On the air bags I would always have at least 10. I run 60-80 with the trailer hooked up depending on the cross wind.

wrt shorting air pressure to 'allow the tire to warm up' to the proper pressure; tire pressures listed are for cold 'ambient' tires.
