Tires...

I am a newbie to RVing. I have a used 31' Sunseeker (2006) on the Ford chassis. Tires need replacing. First point of clarification. Must I get RV tires or will commercial load carrying tires (provided they are the right size and load rating) do the trick? Also, would be interested in hearing folks' thoughts about brands. Thanks in advance.

What has your local NTB or Goodyear shown you?

Highly recommend discount tire. They put 6 on mine for about $900. Way cheaper than anyone else. They know what load range you need.

@D - In the interim, I've learned that the tires on my unit are OE. So, that helps with size, speed rating and load rating and also answers the "special" rv tires question.

@L - I've seen that discount tires has great prices. I am on the east coast and, unfortunately, there is not a store even within 300 miles of me. The local version is Mr. Tire and they sem to have the best prices around here.
