Nice...I like your color.
I have pewter inside...amber outside, a tad more brown look than I prefer

Jeep Wrangler is one of the easiest vehicles to tow. No modifications, other than tow base plate and those are fairly simple to install on Wranglers. The later models don't require you to have key in ignition, I'm thinking 2010 and up.

The best vehicle (that can be towed) is the one you want to use when you get to wherever you're going.

Doesn’t work like that...

I have a HONDA RIDGELINE ...CANNOT BE TOWED
I have a Lexus...suv hybrid...CANNOT BE TOWED

I WOULD PREFER A HONDA FIT...BEEN SHOPPING FOR DAYS, CANNOT FIND ONE
ONLY CERTAIN YEARS ARE TOWABLE

THE CRV...really crowds the weight.

We bought the Jeep cherokee trailhawk because of the very reason the person said above. Buy something you are going to use besides just tow. Our friends bought the wrangler and just hate the discomfort of driving it except off road.

Check out this list. Not endorsing the site or the list of vehicles. Just passing on a decent source of data.

Tow Vehicle

Agreed that you need one that will be something that you wish to drive where ever you go. We did flat tow with a Base Soul due to price and no issues. turns out that it was the best part of the RV deal. I had to get a tow plate and tow bar but the tow plate isn't really visible and the Soul is lighter than most vehicles. We sold our Class A and bought a C and can still use it. One person hook up. If I had to do it over again I would probably go with a dolly from https://cartowdolly.com/

We spent a little over $3k for the tow setup and brake controller. The dolly will tow any vehicle and has brakes included. The good thing about the dolly is it takes up little space and we can switch out vehicles without doing the brakes and tow plate. We were told that a dolly isn't worth it if you have to leave it in a large foot print but this one stands up in a small space behind the RV.

You need to figure out what you want to drive, cost and then if you are going to keep the same vehicle if you do the tow plate and all.

I think the best tow is one you own already because every time you trade vehicles the dealer and the state tax dept have a pay day. We are thinking of getting the acme tow dolly, at under $2000 it is less than the cost of trading cars. Most folks own at least one FWD vehicle that could be dolly towed.

I paid $1000 for a 2 yr old used ACME that had been used twice (about 3k miles).

We tow a 2008 Jeep JK Sahara with our MBS 2400R. Piece of cake! Very satisfied with ease of hookup and unhook plus towing characteristics.

That was a deal, they are hard to find around here. I like the new 12" wheels they are using now, so a trip down to NC may be in order. They are only $1799 new if you pickup.

One more opinion

No one can tell you what will work for you, only what they find works for them.
We towed a car on a dolly behind MH across the country and back and found that laying on the ground to hook up the safety chains every morning (often in the gravel or mud) sometimes needing to push the dolly to another site to store it and after some days of travel avoided unhooking just to avoid the need to hook up again so following the trip I sold it all and tried a fifth wheel. That was an easy hook up but not what I really wanted.
Now I am with a motorhome again and decided to do what works for me. I am flat towing a 2016 Chev Malibu AUTOMATIC about 3000 lbs. It doesn't rack up towed miles. No need to remove any fuses, my wiring harness allows for battery charging from the tow vehicle and at the end of the day we have a comfortable car to take out for dinner or shopping. Don't know why the Malibu isn't talked about more when considering a towed vehicle.
P.S. I haven't changed the pic. yet

I have a Forester 3051s and I flat tow a 2016 Chevy Equinox AWD. It tows well and as I am a big guy ( 6'-3") I am very comfortable in it. We use it as our everyday car. But what ever you decide always check in owners manual to make sure you can flat tow it. My car I found in the OM that I either flat tow it or put it on a trailer with all wheels off the ground.

Tow Vehicle - So Confused

Is the Jeep Grand Cherokee the only vehicle available where all you have to do is press a button on the console to put the transfer case in neutral and you're ready to tow? No stopping to run engine every 200 miles, no need to start vehicle every morning and run for 5 minutes like some other brands, etc. That seems very simple, quick, and painless to me. Can anyone confirm my presumptions are accurate?

Tow

I think to OP is asking about a vehicle to tow the trailer and not a towd.
