Tow/Haul

I have a 2014 E450 Sunseeker and I'd like some good info on the Tow/Haul. I have used it on occasion going up and down the various grades but can it be used while I'm in cruise control. My feeling is it can't. Any first hand advice would be appreciated.

Yes it can be used while in cruise mode.
You'll likely Rev a little higher at cruising speed but that's part of the design as the converter remains unlocked.

Just drove 600 miles this weekend in tow/haul. Mostly with the cruise control on.

Tow/haul is always on when I am pulling any heavy trailer and I use it with the cruise as often as I can

Yeah, with cruse on it will automatically downshift for you going down grades to help maintain your set cruising speed. Just like it does when you tap the break petal while descending a hill in tow/haul mode.

However, going up the grade with the cruse set in tow haul mode makes it keep dropping gears to maintain your set speed plus some it seems. I only know this from the times a hill or grade "sneaks" up on me as the coach pretty much drives itself with cruse set.
