It Takes a little practice. Bring the seat forward, pull the yellow lever, slide diagonally towards the center of the coach, then you can spin it around.

I'm still breaking mine in. It's sort of a wrestling match. I lean my body on the seat and pull the pin at the front and the yellow handle and use my body to move the seat to make it spin. I think the more it is used the easier it will get.

So does it get easier turning the seat after a few times? Our new 2015 sunseeker has the rotateable seats but after the last time it was so hard to move it. I told the wife NEVER turn this Da__ thing again

Anyone know where this "Atwood Operating Manual" might be.I found a link in the Forum but it goes nowhere. Thanks
I figure when I have time I'll remove the swivel unit. Look it over figure out how it ticks and maybe be able to loosen it up so it's usable.

Thanks for trying but no where do they show any info on these DA__ seats. My guess is they know they made a POS and are trying to ignore the problem.

Armed with the "instructions" I gave it another try. We had already mastered sliding the seat and turning it but couldn't get it to slide back into home position. after much aggravation, pushing. kicking and swearing I went for my mechanics friend the "24" pry bar" It worked. Now the Pry bar has been added to my Motorhome tool box!
