Trying to decide

Hello all! I am brand new to the Forest River Forum but have decided on purchasing a Sunseeker through RV Direct. I am trying to decide between the 2650s and the 3100ss. Any input is appreciated. I'm am aware of the differences in the floorplans and either of these two models would be great. I am looking for personal experiences/opinions/suggestions.

Welcome Josman,

If your good with both floor plans / equipment / design / bed size / shower size / storage.....the choice is purely what is best for you!! The size difference could effect your storage of the T.T. Also your T.V able to comfortably and safely tow the larger T.T ??

It would be helpful to know what type T.V you have for additional input from posters.

Happy Camping !

Hi and welcome to the forum!! both floor plans look very nice. how many are in your family? I would think the 3100ss would be more spacious than the 2650s because of the larger slide. what are you going to tow behind it car, boat, etc and how much can each tow. also like the way the bath is laid out in the 3100ss. JMHO. which ever you get enjoy!!

Are they both on the ford E-450 Chasis? That will make a difference on how much you can tow. I believe the E-350 limits you to 3500 lbs towing as opposed to 5000 on the e-450. We have the 2940ds sunseeker and like it very much.

I have owned class C's on both the 350 and 450 chassis and in my opinion the 450 drives a lot better in crosswinds then the 350.
