Under bed storage

We are planning to order a 3050S, and are wondering what is under the bed. Is there storage there or something else that uses up that space? Anyone know?

We have a 2014 Forester 3051S which is the 'sister' to the Sunseeker 3050S. There is approximately one third storage under the foot of the bed. Enjoy your new unit!

Under Bed Storage

There is a small storage area under the foot of the bed. I removed all the plywood from under the mattress and put the original storage lid against the headboard wall. I mounted the hinge to a piece of plywood that covered the remainder of the bed. I got air cylinders and mounted so most of the mattress support raises up. There was room for a 3' x 3' additional storage area next to the plumbing pipes. Now I have the 2' x 4' factory storage and the 3' x 3' I created. Really helped with extra bedding and etc..

Under bed storage

This is what I did with mine. I do have to be cautious with what goes in there weight wise. The door in the front is to get at the drive motor and sheer pins if they break.
