Using a suburban for a toad

I have a 2015 3050s sunseeker with a 7500 lb hitch. I am looking for a toad and am wondering if using my 2012 suburban would be unreasonable. If I buy another vehicle I will need to spend more on insurance, etc. I know a lot of people like jeeps, but I already own a low mileage suburban. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a 2014 3050s and I am flat towing a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. Would not want to tow anything heavier. Can definitely feel it back there. The 3050s is fairly heavy. When you load it up and have a 4000# toad it is about at its comfortable limit. I have no doubt that it will pull a Suburban. I would not do it though. Sorry.

Using a suburban for a toad

I have a 3171 and am pulling my 2013 F-150 from Calgary to Halifax and back. Just about 15000kms in total. I can feel but the V-10 pulls fine. Fuel mileage suffered about 1.5 mpg.

You will be stopping alot of weight, so have a dependable braking system installed in the suburban.
