VERY expensive leak 2013 2300F

This popped up unnoticed and now have a swimming pool over my cab. Estimate is $5400 to fix. That does not look like it was attached properly or something.. That is the roof actually lifting and breaking the seal, rather than the seal giving out ... thanks Forest River Picture didn't show up I guess

looks pretty minor to repair
not sure what the interior damage is
I would get another repair estimate...

then use Eternabond Tape on those seams

I check it every month.... this is so big that it let in a lot of water, its right on the pathway of AC condensation and water routed off the roof....

Contact RVroof.com for an estimate. Plus a lifetime warranty. One and done and FR may help with cost. Can't hurt to speak to dealer and FR on your behalf. If I ever have roof issues, this is where I am going.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Once it is fixed, Eternabond tape everything. I did a video on doing that to my Sunseeker.

How to apply Eternabond

At RV restoration place yesterday. A moulding strip along that edge of the roof stops 6 inches short of intersecting with the moulding strip that runs across the front. He said either Forest River manufacturing defect or La mesa RV just put sealer over the gap to close it all up and sell it. I was in the used car business and I know that's a great possibility . So naturally, with no strip to hold it down and in place it would eventually break that seal when expanding in the constant heat. You can see where the strip ends in the pic. The opposite side extends all the way to the front. Needless to say... I'm not happy with La mesa RV of Sanford for hiding this defect. An inspection upon taking it in on trade should have uncovered this... you can see how obvious it is in the picture

So you bought this used? If so, you're definitely on your own.
