Watch that 220V
Well my Brother in Law did me a "Favor" while were visiting other family and wired a receptacle for my coach on a 220 line
The reason for this post is not to cry, panic, ask for help,it's too late for that
The unit is at the shop and we will get it fixed (microwave toasted,Converter Blown other items???? Still waiting)
The point of this post is that my research has found that many people don't realize that the Coach is a 110 system and just cause the plug fits doesn't mean it's good to go.
My repair shop owner has seen 8 so far this year!!!
Everything from accidentally to Electricians purposely wiring an RV outlet with 220v
He told me a customer rents 7 of his units every year for a family reunion and a family electrician was doing them a favor and wired up the reunion site with "you guessed it 7 220 services and blew out 3of the campers before someone questioned why nothing was working
So if this info is "Duh" everyone knows that, good for you!
But I'm finding out
It happens all the time year after year
