Water filter

The dealer didn't install the water filter in the plastic bin so I don't have a model to follow. Does it just rest in the plastic bin? Or do I need to do anything special (install a certain way, screw in, etc)? Thanks!

Just make sure the rubber gasket is seated well. Then check for leaks.

I installed my filter on our Sunseeker 2860 this last weekend on our maiden voyage. Suggest if you have a drain hole on the floor you unsrew it first. The empty canister is filled to the brime and you will spill a little when you tip the canister to remove it. As yes watch out for the black rubber seal. When I opened the filter it popped out on the ground. Otherwise straight forward and no leaks. The canister wrench worked great.

Place a coffee can under the canister to collect spillage.

I prefer external filter over one inside.....still have the one that came with trailer as never installed it....just got one of the filters that you can screw on the spigot before the water enters the hose....attach pressure regulator there too and keeps filtered water running thru dedicated water hose for camper....good luck....
