Water Filter
Anyone know the part number or where I can buy a water filter for 2015 sunseeker 3170ds? Or are water filters one size fits all?

Mine is a water pur, but am a few years older than yours. Best to take it out and look for brand and or part number. I order mine on line from water pur cci-10-ca. Good luck

Take a look at Filtersfast.com too. We use them for our home fridge filters and they are quite a it cheaper.

Same here. About $30, but lasts the year.

Try this place
https://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com
Tell them what you have, what level of filtration you want and how often you use your Sunseeker. They are very helpful.

How often do you guys change them? I assume it's different depending on how much you use your RV. I've had my RV for 10 months. I've used it 30 days total in that time.

Water Filter
We never drink the water though. DW insists we use bottled water everytime we take a trip.

I'm a bit anal. I use a inline filter on the hose that I change twice a year. My house filter gets changed once a year. We camp about 60 days a year.

I do the same as Mr Joe, cheapy in line at the spigot that gets replaced two times in the season. The in house unit gets put in when I flush out the pink stuff and stays there til the season is over.

1 time a year, install new filter after de-winterizing and doing the bleach treatment. Yes, Me and the dog drink from the spigot. DW does not. Water is treated, RV system is treated, I figure probably cleaner than the house. How many treat and filter their house water? Just say'in.

Just watch you don't put in too low a micron filter, it will trick the water pump ( when you are using water pump not CG water) into thinking you have turned off tap, due to the high restriction of filter. You will notice a cycling of pump when you turn on tap.

The campground we use the most has a lot of rust in the water and is hard. We use two blue disposable filters from Walmart. They work great on the taste on no orange in the RV. I like the filtering before entering the RV water lines to keep them clean. (I might be a little ocd).
