Water Filter Location

Just had my 2008 2860DS winterized and when I visited the rig in storage I noticed they had taken the water filter out and left it in the sink in the bathroom. Probably want to put it back in place when I de-winterize so was hoping one (or more) of you could tell me where it actually goes. Simple instructions please for the mechanically-challenged. Thanks.

For a 2008 it should be under the bed.

Late 2008 we started a running redesign, so if you have the heated enclosed tanks, it will be located in the compartment 2nd from the rear on the passenger side. Open that compartment and there is another little black door, it is behind there

Thanks. Wondering how to tell if i have the newer, heated tanks versin. Is their a switch to tuen on/off?

There may be a switch either way. If you have a power step, you don't have the enclosed tanks. If your entry step is incorporated into the sidewall, then you have the enclosed tanks.
