water not getting hot

Enjoying the first few days in our 2011 Sunseeker 2300. One thing that has us puzzled... our hot water heater is turned on..we hear the propane functioning, but the water is only warm, certainly not hot. Not sure what adjustments to make.

Your bypass valve is likely open or your shower (inside or out) has both valves open and the hand wand button is closed.

Thanks so much for your input on several posts! We looked at that bypass on our walkthrough and we were sure it was closed, but we double checked and found it open... That solved it! The shower valve possibility sounded interesting, though.... Wouldn't that result in a noticeable loss of water, though?

Lou,

Need to thank you for the post with picture. I was just cruising posts and stopped here, as my "hot water" had been a little cool lately. When I dewinterized my Motor Home a few months ago, I just opened values under the sink near the hot water heater without checking which one was which. After seeing your picture, I headed out to check the values to the hot water heater. Sure enough, I had somehow opened or left open the bypass value. Closed it, waited, and my nice hot water was back!! Thanks!!

Been at this since 6 AM.
ALL stuff the "so called dealers" should have handled when these poor ba... guys bought their campers.

No just a different flow path.
