what is included in the package
Hi,
What option equipment is standard on a 2013 sunseeker 3170dsf. I am having difficulty finding a complete and consistent answer to that question.
Thanks,
Jim

There's standard, there's options, and there's mandatory options which might as well be standard 'cause you gotta take it. Usually the mandatory options include stuff you'd want anyway. When dealers order units for their lot they will include options that have proved popular with their buying public. Looking at the options list things like the Fantastic Fan and wood fridge panels would fall into that catagory. I don't know if this link helps you or not:

Yes I have that information, there appears to be a package associated with designation "f" after the model number (3170dsf). I am having trouble finding a complete and accurate list of what "options" are included in that package.

Could the 'f' stand for Ford?

I think the "F" stands for getting the updated stainless steel double door fridge.

3170 is a number we pluck from the sky. DS stands for double slide. F is for Ford.
There are no forced options anymore, we make those standard. So now standard is standard and options are options. All is right in the world again.

The only other package we offer is the Safe & Sound package. Option code 6344. That includes Heated remote mirrors, back up camera, 5.1 surround, GPS nav with iPod dock and black tank flush.

Does the back up camera have sound? I turned the volume up and down when in reverse and I hear nothing. Not a big deal, but would be nice to have. If it is supposed to have sound, any suggestions to get working? Thanks.

It can.
Underneath the steering wheel column, there is a "hush panel" plastic panel that is just clipped in (just above your knees). You can pull that down. Up in there somewhere is a silver box tucked away that is the video control box. There is a blue wire that comes off of that.
The camera before the one we're using now had issues with not being able to adjust the volume down so I think they stopped hooking that up. If that blue wire is there, you can connect that to the "REVERSE" lights 12v power line on the Ford chassis. That will ensure that the volume only comes on in reverse.

Got it. This one may be beyond my skills, but I will ask anyway. Where is the 12V power line for the "REVERSE" lights on the Ford Chasis? If it is easier to connect so that the sound comes on all the time the reverse camera is on, let me know also.
Thanks again!

Typically you can track it off the Ford fuse panel. I'm pretty sure that it is also a blue wire, but I'm not at the plant this week to check.
