What Is It?

On a full clean up of the RV we found a remote control entitled "TFT LCD", "Monitor Mobile" with a power button and a button cluster with Menu in the middle and "Video Select", "Mode Select" on the bottom and <-, and -> arrows on the sides. Its about 3 in high, 1 1/2 wide, and a 1/4 thick. Haven't the remotest idea what its for - any ideas. Would have posted a picture, but that's another thing that I haven't the remotest idea how to accomplish. Tnx

Good supposition but it's not that. We have separate remotes for the TV, the dash audio/gps system, and the outside radio. This is above and beyond that.

Could it be something the dealer accidentally left in the rig?

I have a couple universal tft monitors that have similar remotes. Usually used for backup camera, gps or audio video system.

"Haven't the remotest idea what its for" What a great line - I bet they are for a rear view camera system, maybe 2 cams.

It is for the monitor for the rear view camera and side cameras, assuming you have that option.
Monitor is where the rear view mirror would go.
I have same in our 2500TS.

Exactly so. Who would have guessed that the rear view mirror had become so high tech. It turns it on/off, adjusts the contrast and brightness, and shifts the angle of view - Wow! Thanks Arfbee etal

Yup. Backup / side cameras monitor remote. Our dealer showed us. I thought that's crazy - a remote for something a foot away. I hit the power button on the monitor when starting the vehicle and never touch any controls again until I start the vehicle again. But I guess it might be handy if you have short arms.

The rear camera has a built in mic. It is activated when you reverse. Volume control. No more screaming with directions from the spotter.. Now be nice. Tell the DW you can hear her.
I found the rear camera was more useful if adjusted in most up position. IMOA

Next time you are at the gas pump hit * and volume down button.
It will lower the gas price at that pump.
