This was a very good post for me. We bought a 2014 2250 last July. I have never owned an RV so it took about one month to read the documentation and try all the appliances in our yard before we went camping. We liked the 2250 with the bed slideout, keeping the overall lenth down ( we have a small yard) as well as being able to get to three sides of the slideout bed ( My wife likes that since I get up in the middle of the night as well as making the bed is probaby easier! ). What I do miss is not having a spare tire or a ladder. The dealer said that a ladder would not be possible due to the slideout and shower being in the rear. I see that the spare tire on the 2300 in the rear center cutout just in front of the rear bumper. Can the spare go there on the 2250 also or does it have to go on the rear bumper?
Where do I find what options are available for the2014 2250? I don't see the 2014 2250 in the Forest River Catalog that I found on-line.

The 2250 brochure should be going online soon. They left it out for some reason so I just sent them the 2014 version.

1. The slide out goes out the side, so there is no reason a ladder couldn't be installed. In fact I'm pretty sure we still put the backer in there.
2. There is no room for a spare below. You could do a bumper mount or wall mount on the rear I have seen people do both. I'll see if I can track down a wall print with backer.
