Wow, heaviest model sunseeker towing getting better mileage than most not towing.

Got a diesel conversion on that thing?

I'm jealous

Went 250 miles with our 3170ds yesterday pulling approximately 3000lbs. 75psi in the front tires 80psi in the rear and trailer tires at 80psi.
No a/c and no generator and kept at 65 mph and didn't use the cruise up hills.
Just rolled 1000 miles on the odometer.
Same trip 2 weeks ago running generator most the drive got us 6.3mpg so I was expecting better this trip.
Woohoo!!! 6.45 mpg. Lol!!!

With a 2450S Chevy front we get 11 plus not towing and still get over 10 with a Car Tow Dolly with a Mazda 3 on it.

I made my first trip over Friday and Saturday. Only did 210 miles on fairly level road, some minor ups and downs, and got 8 mpg. Not bad really, wouldn't have gotten more than 10 towing my travel trailer and probably between 9 and 10.

Not bad gmacklem.

Our rv dealer told us if we want to drive with A/C to use the generator and roof A/C and leave the dash A/C off. Can anyone confirm or deny this works better for mpgs?

I don't track petrol.....

After intensive investigation and research I have calculated (regardless of toad or not) that we are getting excellent mileage. We (DW and I) seem to consume about 4 ounce of hootch per 30 miles of road once the chairs and awning are out. As for fuel? I do it everyday on the road just prior to "jacks downs" and have always averaged under the hundred in budget per travel day. Point is I don't track mpg on the coach, I am on holiday....
