What roofing material on 2004 Sunseeker ?

Hi,
I noticed that the roof on mu 2004 3100 SS is covered in black spots, it is also is becoming very powdery.
Does anyone know what the roofing material is (some sort of rubber) and what is the best thing to clean and maintain it?
Thanks

Ours has the same rubber roof. I have a soft scrub brush that I use to clean it with. I just use the same stuff I wash the camper with. It comes out nice and clean.

My question though, which I have yet to find an answer too, Does scrubbing and washing a rubber roof do more harm then good? Does it wear the rubber a little thinner every time you wash it?

There is a special cleaner and protectant that should be used on the "rubber" roofs. I would be careful with other cleaners, as they could be too harsh. You could do far more damage than just leaving it dirty.
After a few years, all rubber roofs look bad. Just the nature of the beast.

Thanks crocus, I will look into that. I have only done my roof twice since we have owned this one.

Mine is a rubber roof that was looking pretty shabby. I cleaned it last week with a cleaner/protector and it looks pretty good now. Just be sure you REALLY rinse well when done to prevent streaks on the sides.
